Minecraft PE 1.21.130.27 – The end of Version 1.21
This is a new beta and preview version of Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.130.27, and this update is dedicated to improving the quality of the game. The screen flickering that used to occur frequently has become less common, although it still occurs occasionally, for example when typing text on signs. This is not mentioned in the changelog, but many players continue to report this issue. Now let’s move on to the new features and bug fixes.
What’s fixed in this version?
Nautilus Breath
The Nautilus Breath effect no longer prevents air regeneration if the player is out of water, has the Water Breathing effect, or if the creature is submerged in lava. Previously, air bubbles would not regenerate when riding a nautilus to the surface, but this has now been fixed. The collision between the head and shell of the nautilus has also been reduced, damage sounds have been fixed, and it can now spawn in peaceful mode at heights between Y38 and Y58, as in the Java version.
Zombie nautilus and coral variant
The coral zombie nautilus now replaces the regular one in warm oceans. It can be summoned with the command /summon dozie_nautilus. This mob can be tamed and ridden. Model overlapping and damage sounds have also been fixed, as with the regular nautilus.
Camel Husk
Zombie huskies riding camel husk now have a 50% chance of dropping a rabbit’s foot. Camel husk can no longer be tethered if a hostile mob is riding them, and they no longer panic in this state. Fixed the “Looting” enchantment.
Parched
Now deal 1 heart of damage instead of 1.5, can spawn riding spiders in deserts, model geometry has been improved, and visual bugs have been fixed.
Sound changes
Added new mounting sounds for nautilus and zombie nautilus, fixed armor and saddle equipment sounds.
Spears
Fixed the “Indestructible” enchantment and the merging of enchanted spears on the anvil. Piglins now correctly hold spears in their left hand, and zombies and other mobs are animated as in Java. The spear’s attack radius is now 4.5 blocks (+3 blocks in creative mode).
Zombie horses
The head is now symmetrical, the saddle texture matches other horses, speed variation has been reduced, and they no longer panic from fire damage to run out into the sun.
Blocks and items
Overhanging roots can now be placed underwater (bug fixed after 4 years). Shovels with the minecraft:is_shovel tag now create paths on any block. Bottles no longer stack in the brewing stand. Fixed third-person swimming animation.
General fixes
Copper armor now gives the “Mortals” achievement, and green dye no longer gives “You Need Mint”. Added new splash text: “You can’t just walk to the End” – a hint to players who have walked there.
Graphics and controls
Fixed the lack of point light for torches and lanterns when tracing rays, fixed cursor movement in the background on Windows, fixed issues with Xbox controllers and dithering effect on mobs.
Interface and gameplay
Windows (inventory, chat, trading) now close when damage is taken. Fixed closing during multiple attacks. Crimson fungi and roots now reappear in the warped forest (bug existed for 5 years).
Technical changes
Added support for colored lighting and the ability to connect redstone to custom blocks. This is a major update for map and add-on creators, and overall, update 1.21.130.27 brings the game closer to the end of the 1.21 version cycle – the full release is expected within 2-4 weeks, hooray!
