Mesozoic Kingdom Add-On [Premium]
Mesozoic Kingdom is an add-on by BlockLabs that adds detailed prehistoric creatures to MC: Bedrock Edition. It’s not very big in terms of content, but it focuses on quality and the dinosaurs have unique behavior, stats, and interaction mechanics.
Guide and Main Mechanics
After installing it you will get two items: guide book and compendium. The add-on has only 5 dinosaurs and about 30 new items. The books explain creature behavior, their food, breeding, and other features.
The breeding system can work in two modes. For dinosaurs to breed, their fertility must be at maximum. It increases when you drop food near the creature.
- Genderless – like in regular Minecraft, you only need two adult creatures of the same species
- Realistic – requires a male and a female
Triceratops
Triceratops appear in savannas. They can only be tamed when they are babies using wheat or hay. Wild adults are territorial and can attack the player if you stay in there territory.
Tamed triceratops:
- follow commands
- can protect the owner
- can break trees
- you can ride them with a special saddle
Breeding in the Mesozoic Kingdom Add-On can happen in two ways: instant baby spawn or egg laying. Eggs hatch after a few minutes, and they can break if someone steps on them.
Other Creatures
Saber-tooth salmon is a neutral fish that spawns in rivers. After killing it you get prehistoric meat and skin. These can be used to cook different foods including pies and sushi.
Primitive nautilus lives in the oceans of Minecraft: BE. It is timid, but if you feed it rotten flesh it becomes friendly. Some recipes using its resources let you get emeralds.
T-Rex – the most dangerous dinosaur in the add-on. It is always aggressive and attacks when it sees a player. You cant tame it, but after killing it you can get rare resources.
Ankylosaurus
Ankylosaurus are easier to tame than triceratops. They are slow and have less health, but they get strong damage reduction and because of that they are good for guarding territory.
The add-on also adds weapons, armor, and special items crafted from dinosaur resources.
