Setup and Controls

After installing the Ultra Cars Add-On, you will recieve the Ultra Cars Guide. This is your command center which you need to place on the ground. Before getting behind the wheel open the settings (sneak + interact) where you can configure the speedometer display, select speed units (mph or km/h) and adjust the engine sound volume.

It is recommended to enable music in the game settings, as it syncs with the cars audio systems. However if the sounds seem too sharp or loud lower the volume in the guide menu.

Car Assembly

The car-building system in the Ultra Cars Addon consists of several steps.

  • You will need tires (crafted from a golden axe and a cherry log) fuel canisters (filled with coal and ifrit powder), and batteries (for electric cars).
  • To build a car craft metal sheets (piston, iron, anvil), coils, cylinders, wheels and a chassis.
  • The heart of every car is the ECU (Electronic Control Unit), which also requires resources including redstone comparators and prismarine shards.

After assembling the parts select a car model, use spray paint and install a battery in the car or fill it with fuel.

Driving Features

Build up nitro charge by making sharp turns (drifting). Activating nitro (jump button) provides massive acceleration.

Cars have a durability limit. If you crash hard or collide, the car will start smoking and come to a stop. Use repair kits to fix it (sneak + interact with the car).
