Prizma Visuals 2.0 [64x] [Premium]
Today we are introducing Prisma Visuals 2.0, a major update to the joint project between Starfish Studios and Alexis, the original creator of Prisma.
What’s changing in the interface
If you want to know which devices it works on and when it will be officially released, there is a timer and a selection of impressive screenshots on the project website. It even changes the main screen of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. The only comment: the panorama does not move, I would like to see a cyclical change of scenes in a blooming grove.
Subversions and key features
Prisma Visuals 2.0 includes several subversions. The main one is 64x (Plus), where all functions work:
- improved lighting and reflections,
- redesigned textures for blocks, mobs, and items,
- player and creature animations,
- 3D height maps (volume effect),
- realistic materials and glowing ores,
- volumetric items such as bows and maces.
The 32x (Vanilla) version is simpler no 3D items or custom animations, but with block and mob details preserved. There is also Classic, the minimal version with basic lighting. The choice depends on your device and personal preferences, but for the full experience, it’s best to use 64x.
Recommended settings
After activation, the main menu and the game are completely transformed. To see the full effect, you need to enable Vibrant Visuals in the video settings. High fog density and medium shadows and reflections are recommended.
How it feels in MC:BE
Prisma Visuals 2.0 is not just an update, but a complete reimagining of the original pack. The first version will no longer be actively developed, but 2.0 will receive regular updates and fixes. In the game, you can immediately see how the tools, animations, and water have been reworked. Biomes take on unique shades – especially jungles, where the foliage glows with a soft golden-green light. In caves and underwater, you can see the effect of uneven block surfaces, reflections, and ripples on the water.
At night, the landscapes look atmospheric, with the moon casting a soft glow and illuminated objects and ore shimmering in the dark. Armor takes on a sheen, and the morning dawn is beautifully reflected in the metal.
Even without RTX, the lighting and colors create a sense of a three-dimensional, living world. In different biomes, light and fog change smoothly: in arid savannas, the air is warmer, in the mountains, it is cold and bluish. In the Nether, there is a noticeable difference between the crimson and warped biomes, and in the Overworld, the gloomy atmosphere makes fighting a dragon particularly tense.
