Primal Overworld 1.2 Addon [Premium]

The Primal Overworld 1.2 update adds a new Ashlands biome, the Dark Drax tribe, new dinosaurs, structures, blocks, weapons and armor. These lands are home to dangerous creatures and NPCs, and the new blocks in the biome are functional and can be used in survival gameplay.

Ash can be collected and turned into bone meal, some surfaces crack under the player and turn into lava, and fumaroles can be used to create your own decorations and terrain shapes. Overall, this is a short overview of Primal Overworld, a closely related add-on to the Primal Dinosaurs Addon, which can be downloaded via the link.

The biome contains useful environmental elements:

• Ash blocks that turn into bone meal
• Cracking lava surfaces
• Fumaroles with animations and size variations

New dinosaurs and taming

New dinosaurs can be found in the biome, including skull stego, raptors of different sizes, and other creatures with their own behaviors. Dinosaurs can be tamed, protect the player, and sometimes drop dark scales, which are used to craft items.

Not all of them can be saddled or upgraded with armor, but large dinosaurs are able to carry chests and use special abilities. There is a separate notebook with a description of the personality and taming level, letting you study the abilities.

The main abilities of tamed dinosaurs include:

• protecting the player in battle
• carrying items in chests
• using special attacks
• obtaining rare resources after battles

Structures and NPCs of the Draxa tribe

The update adds new structures: towers, camps and guarded territories. Inside, you can find NPC warriors with new swords, axes and shields, chests with unique items, bone spikes and defensive fortifications. Some NPCs trade skulls and emeralds.

Camps are defended by groups of fighters who inflict poison and increased damage, and the items they drop can be used to craft weapons and equipment.

Arena and Skull Rex boss

The main structure in the update is the arena. Here you will find the player boss and the Skull Rex dinosaur boss, surrounded by warriors and raptors. The boss deals damage and status effects, but after victory you can get rare weapons and a Skull Rex egg.

The dinosaur from the egg can be tamed, saddled and used in battle, but taming requires a large amout of meat and time. The new armor set protects against the conditions of the ash biome and helps you survive in the Ashlands.
