BetterRTX [Windows 10/11]

BetterRTX is an advanced shader mod for Minecraft:Bedrock Edition created for those who want to unlock the full potential of ray tracing, but unlike the standard RTX mode, this shader adds realistic lighting, detailed shadows, and a bunch of other stuff that looks incredibly cool. Keep in mind that this is for Windows, not mobile.

Visual and technical improvements

The shader or mod also adds camera effects such as depth of field, motion blur, soft glow, and realistic exposure, which are lacking in the default settings. As a result, familiar biomes, cities, and buildings look as if they are lit by the real sun.

How to install BetterRTX

You will need Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on Windows 10 or 11 and a graphics card with ray tracing support! Utilities such as IObit Unlocker are often used to unlock system shader files. After that, BetterRTX is activated as a regular RTX mode through the graphics settings.

What you should know before using

BetterRTX is not an official Mojang product, so after PEMinecraft updates, you may need to reinstall it, so it is recommended to use a clean resource pack with PBR support, such as Vanilla RTX or ItsDrCat RTX. Also, do not enable additional graphics mods at the same time to avoid conflicts.
