Biomes O’ Plenty Addon [Bedrock Edition]

Another top-tier Minecraft Java mod is being ported to Bedrock. Biomes O’ Plenty is officially coming to Bedrock Edition as an add-on, and it’s happening soon.

For those unfamiliar, Biomes O’ Plenty is a legendary Java mod with nearly 200 million downloads. It’s over a decade old and adds more than 50 brand-new biomes. If you’ve ever played Java modpacks with custom biomes, chances are they used this mod.

The creator, Glitch Fiend, posted on Twitter/X yesterday saying the mod was first released 13 years ago and announced it’s finally being ported to Bedrock in collaboration with 4KS Studios. They even released a trailer, and I have some gameplay clips and images to show how it looks on Bedrock. From what I’ve seen, it supports vibrant visuals, which is very exciting for the Bedrock community.

You wake up in a brand-new world: vibrant, colorful, dark, moody. Shrublands, gigantic redwood forests, enhanced swamps, cherry trees, caves, and more. This is going to be the foundation for any Bedrock survival modpack.
