Nether Expansion Add-On [Premium]

Another attempt to transform the Nether in Minecraft: Bedrock 26, titled the Nether Expansion Addon. It adds new locations mobs and gear, but its implementation still leaves something to be desired. In any case if you like the Nether, this addon will definately be right up your alley.

The atmosphere in the new locations

The five advertised biomes often end up resembling familiar areas. The Ashlands resemble the Valley of the Soul Sand the Obsidian Wastelands look like Basalt Deltas with obsidian grass, and the Glowing Gardens, Amethyst Lands, and Toxic Waste areas feature purple crystals, poisonous geysers, and giant glowing berries.

Chaos and Balance Issues

Monster spawns in the Nether Expansion are clearly overloaded as alot of new types of ghasts continuously attack you with projectiles, and piglins now come in variants equipped with shields and flamethrowers. Meanwhile creating a Magma Golem costs seven netherite ingots, but it dies in a matter of seconds.

Events Instead of Regular Dungeons

As you approach outposts or hot air balloons, waves of enemies are triggered. Clearing them yields a chest with rewards like netherite runes. However decorative blocks such as wood, mushrooms, and plants cannot be crafted and serve no practical purpose.

Survival Arsenal

• A Magma Staff that destroys targets with a single strike.
