Player Animations Addon [Premium]
Add smooth and realistic animations to your world. Over 40 animations for the player, for first and third person. Can be used solo, on a server, and in combination with other add-ons. Minecraft: Bedrock Edition has now reached the point where you can layer multiple add-ons to get the most enjoyment. This add-on doesn’t claim to be “the best”; it simply promises a great experience when used with other add-ons.
Price and installation
The file size is only 2 MB, so there are no installation issues. The question of why you should choose it over Actions and Stuff is obvious – the price. This add-on is much cheaper, but it has features that Actions and Stuff doesn’t have. Personally, I like the stretching animation – it’s really cool.
Settings and management
After installation, you get add-on settings from Creatic Studios: introduction, hand styles, general settings, animation switches, animation guide, support, and dynamic camera. Sometimes the animations can glitch, but hopefully the developers will fix that. The dynamic camera is really cool, and the ability to enable and disable individual animations is convenient.
Basic character animations
The add-on changes the character’s movements when walking, running, stealing, crawling, swimming, flying, climbing, falling, riding a minecart, holding a sword, or when low on health. The animations are worth seeing: there is standing, walking, running, jumping, landing – for both first and third person. There are minor glitches with first person and some skins, but third person works stably. Flying resembles Superman, and the animation of climbing blocks is very impressive, even though extra arms appear in first-person view.
Additional animations
There are also animations for crawling, low health (the character shrinks and holds their hand as if wounded), sword fighting, mining, riding a minecart, and horseback riding. There are hand styles and a dynamic camera that turns the game into almost an RPG, which is convenient for content and screenshots. In multiplayer, you can enable or disable animations for a specific player.
Overall, my opinion is this: Actions and Stuff is better for now, but this add-on is also a decent option for its price. It needs some work and sometimes glitches, but the concept is cool and there are some really awesome moments. Getting this for $3 isn’t bad, but don’t expect the perfect experience like with Actions and Stuff.
