Mutated Items Bedrock Edition ver1.0.7 [1.21/26]

Have you ever wondered what happens to the items we accidentally throw into the Nether portal? Mutated Items Bedrock brings them to life! This project is an official port of the popular Java mod by developer Furti_Two.

Portal Magic

The main mechanic of this add-on is based on mutation. If you throw a standard item into the Nether portal frame, there is a 10% chance that it will not simply dissapear but will return to you in the form of a living creature. You never know whether a faithful helper or a tome will fly out of there.

However, not all entities are born in portals and some will have to be collected manualy. For example, if you place a carved pumpkin on a regular furnace, it will grow arms and legs, turning into a walking brazier. Also, in Mutated Items Bedrock if you replace the furnace with a mob spawner and add Jack’s lantern, you will get a mobile incubator cage.

Living Tools

Every mutant in this add-on is a functional tool. Take Torchies (small torches), for example. They attach themselfs to the player as soon as they are placed and work as autonomous lighting. Visually, it looks like a tiny creature that turns into a regular torch in complete darkness.

The Quartz Crab will become your personal experience processor. Feed it quartz crystals and it will crush them with its claws; producing pure energy.

Creatures inhabiting The End

The hammerhead shark is a true leviathan with bedrock skin as its massive body floats between islands. A direct attack with a sword is useless and the only tactic is to shoot the crystal in its chest, which causes a powerfull explosion.
