Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.130 – Last Release of the Year
The new version of Minecraft Bedrock Edition, Mounts of Mayhem, is finally here! Version 1.21.130 is the last major update of the year, bringing a host of changes, bug fixes, and new features for players.
Improvements to mounts
Horses, zombie horses, donkeys, mules, and camels dont sink in water anymore. It’s way easier to cross rivers and lakes without dismounting. Netherite horse armor was also added, which can be crafted at a workbench and gives strong protection for your steeds.
New mob – Nautilus
A new neutral aquatic mob has appeared – the Nautilus. It can be tamed with bubble fish and saddled. It can jump and attack with fish, and the “Nautilus Breath” effect lets it float while on its back. Also, theres a zombie version with a zombie drone mount, and a coral variation for warm oceans.
New weapon – Spear
A spear was added to Bedrock 1.21, craftable from various materials: wood, stone, copper, iron, gold, diamonds and neserite. The spear has two attacks: normal strike and a charge. With the “lunge effect,” you can move fast, consuming the weapon’s durability and stamina. A charged attack can do massive damage and even cook food when killing animals with the fire effect.
Zombie horses and new skeletons
After many years, zombie horses finally appear in survival mode. They spawn at night on plains and savannas, sometimes with a zombie rider with a spear. The new skeleton, “Exhausted,” shoots arrows of weakness and can be found in deserts, sometimes riding spiders.
Other changes
Added audio improvements, block adjustments (like water roots), changes to video settings (screen rotation on damage), bug fixes with skins and interface, performance improvements on Xbox and Windows, and item sorting in the creative menu.
