Endless Desert Bedrock Addon Pack [1.21.123+]
The Endless Desert Bedrock Addon Pack transports players to a world consisting entirely of desert. You appear in a small shelter, the only place where the temperature won’t kill you in the first few minutes of the game. As soon as you step outside, your body begins to heat up rapidly, and the water can cause poisoning. Despite the difficulty of this mode, achievements remain enabled!
New resource mechanics
Due to the lack of the usual mining, the mod pack introduces an expanded processing system. Here’s how it works. Special foliage blocks are turned into mud and water, and the mud is sifted through a sieve to produce basic materials. These materials can be upgraded, for example, turning mini-stone into cobblestone. Something similar exists in Stonefactory Bedrock, but unlike this add-on pack, Stonefactory is paid.
Wooden and stone barrels allow you to process resources, while starting the generator opens the way to automation. At the beginning, you get several blocks of turf and saplings, and it is they that ensure the rapid development and restoration of wood in Endless Desert Bedrock.
Dangerous mobs and the final test
The main threat of the desert is custom hags. They are stronger than usual, cannot be knocked back by attacks, and deal damage while you are standing on sand. Defeat them to obtain sweet berries, which are needed to create a cooling drink.
Below the surface, you will find caves, ores, and villages. At the end of the first chapter, you will encounter the Hag Golem, a powerful boss that can be summoned. The reward for victory is boots that absorb heat.
