True Survival / Realistic Survival Addon ver4.0 [Bedrock 26.0+]

True Survival is a new level of difficulty in MC:BE 26.0. Now it’s not enough to just eat, and thirst and body temperature come to the fore. The add-on sets a new survival format, but the maximum difficulty is, of course hardcore.

How not to die of thirst

Bedrock has added a water scale that empties faster if you run a lot. The easiest way to drink is to sit down at a body of water with empty hands and click on the block under the water, but this can lead to poisoning.

For safe drinking, it’s better to use glass bottles or a leather flask. Raw water from them must be boiled over a fire or in an oven, but if you ignore your thirst you will first feel weak and then die. Thats realistic survival.

Fighting the climate

The temperature in True Survival directly affects your condition. To avoid freezing or overheating you can use portable devices – heaters and coolers. Drinks such as pumpkin juice will warm you up, while a sweet cold drink will help you cool down.

Useful gadgets and food

For long trips there are water barrels. One barrel holds the volume of four flasks and can be carried in your inventory with water. In terms of food, raw meat is now practically useless and causes severe poisoning. However cooked food has a regenerative effect, as in the Java version of the game.
