Off-hand Torch Addon v3.1.6 (Dynamic Light) [1.21/26]

How many torches do you need to light up a small cave? Instead of placing one after the other, you can simply use this tiny plugin to expand the capabilities of the off-hand slot. Yes, everything is as simple as it can be, especially in Bedrock Edition. So, without getting too technical, here’s how the addon works.

For Minecraft this sounds quite strange because previously this was only possible on JE. Now, when playing BE the torch in the left hand slot actually illuminates the environment, capturing about 10 blocks in radius.

Off-hand torch recipe

To simplify the crafting of the torch, it is done through the inventory. Place a regular torch on the crafting grid and take the off-hand one.
