OptiFine – MCPE FPS Optimizer [Bedrock]
If your device isn’t the strongest and you often get FPS drops while playing Minecraft: Bedrock 1.21, here’s a good way to fix it. This is OptiFine (Bedrock Optimizer), created by the same person who makes high-quality shaders for MC:BE.
But instead of releasing another shader, this time they made an FPS optimizer built entirely on the standard scripting and texture capabilities of Bedrock Edition.
How much FPS can you gain?
It depends on your device, but on average you can expect a noticeable boost thanks to these optimizations. Not every change is listed here, since the pack focuses on reducing everything that eats up performance the most.
- campfire and lava smoke, water bubbles, fire sparks, portal effects, snowfall and raindrops, footprint particles on blocks, small flashes from critical hits and enchantments.
- simplified or removed animations for fire, water, and lava; static grass and leaves (no waving); removed unnecessary decorative block transitions; optimized clouds and stars.
- volumetric effects such as fog and glare are disabled, further reducing performance load.
In any case, you can count on about 10-15 extra FPS after installing it.
