Make Your Own Custom Music Discs Pack [Bedrock 1.21]

With this addon and a few simple steps, you can replace the vanilla music disc tracks with the songs you want to hear in Minecraft: Bedrock 1.21. It’s quick and easy – just make sure to prepare your music files in advance.

How it works

1. Get the pack – Download the .mcpack file, rename it to .zip, and unzip it.
2. Add your music – Convert your song to .ogg, rename it to match the disc you want to replace (check the renaming table), and drop it into the rrecords folder. Delete the original file with the same name.
3. (Optional) Change textures – Put your own .png disc texture in the disc_texture folder with the correct name.
4. (Optional) Rename discs – Open the texts/en_US.lang (or your language file), find the disc name, and change the text after the = sign.
5. (Optional) Advanced settings – Edit sounds/sound_definitions.json if you want to change things like how far the sound travels, volume, or pitch.
6. Repack & install – Zip the folder back up, change .zip to .mcpack, and open it with Minecraft. For long songs, put the folder directly into development_resource_packs instead.
7. Enable in-game – Activate the resource pack in settings and play your custom discs!

Tips

• Only .ogg audio works.
• File names are case-sensitive.
• Keep audio files a reasonable size for mobile.
• Textures should be .png and ideally 16×16, 32×32, or 64×64.
