Biome Pets Add-On v1.3 [Premium]

A major 1.3 update for the Biome Pets add-on for Minecraft: Bedrock has been released, completely revamping the pet system. Pets now have full species, meaning they have baby forms, their own names and, in some cases, up to three stages of evolution.

New species and evolutions

All biome pet forms are now unique mobs and no longer share the same names. Previously, even evolved forms had the same names as their base forms, but now each stage has its own identity. For example, the ecodile now starts as a repadile and only evolves later. All evolutions must be unlocked separately by exploring different biomes, including the Nether and the End.

Biome Pets tablet and interface

After the update, players recieve a Biome Pets tablet, where they can view pets, add-on data, settings and an overview of changes. The level of each pet is now displayed above its head. The tablet shows where the pet lives, how rare it is, what abilities it has and what it evolves into. Locked forms are unlocked only after evolution.

Experience and Level System

The old evolution point system in v1.3 has been replaced with a full experience system. Pets gain XP in battle, level up and improve their stats: health, attack power, speed and evasion. Stronger mobs give more experiance. Special berries may also drop, which speed up leveling, but keep in mind levels gained in battle are still more effective.

New pets and taming armor

The Biome Pets update adds several new pets, including ones that do not evolve and the first mountable pet. Taming armor has also been added, increasing the chance of succesful taming. It can be obtained from a special merchant, a naturalist. A full set gives an additional bonus making taming significantly easier. Overall, its a solid update, and if youve already purchased Biome Pets, be sure to update!
