Minecraft: Bedrock 26.1: Interface and Bug Fixes
The official Bedrock 26.1 update has been released, and it turned out to be truly massive (no). So much has been added that it’s hard to describe everything. At first glance, it may seem like there are only a few changes, but in fact there are important fixes, especially for mobile players. So, here’s a quick summary of the main features in Minecraft PE 26.1.
Interface fixes
One of the main problems with previous versions was the UI scale. Before the update, it displayed normally, but after switching to version 26 even with the interface set to the largest size, the elements stayed small. Now this bug has been fixed, and the interface in 26.1 is shown in the size you selected in settings. This applies to all elements including the quick access bar and control buttons.
Versions and bugs
The bug was reported in versions 26.0.24, 26.10.21, and the official 26.0. After updating to 26.1, users will recieve the fixed UI on all platforms, but the update is rolling out gradually. If you haven’t run into the problem, there’s no need to rush and install it – sometimes updates fix one thing and break another.
Recommendations
If your version is working fine, stay on it for a few days. Keep an eye on other players reviews – when they say the version is stable and there are no major issues only then does it make sense to update. If you’ve had a problem with the interface, the Bedrock Edition 26.1 update will most likely solve it.
