The FURNITURE Add-On has recieved a major update to version 2.1, which changes the mechanics of interacting with interiors. You now have access to over a thousand crafting options that transform a simple wooden box into a detailed house.

Carpenter’s Workbench

To avoid cluttering the crafting menu with hundreds of recipes, FURNITURE Add-On features a Furniture Workbench. You’ll need any type of wood, an iron axe, shears and a standard workbench. All cabinets, tables, and decorative items are created exclusively there!

Interactivity and Everyday Details

Now you can not only sit on a chair, but also climb into a sink, a cauldron or an empty grocery basket. The decor has also become smarter and here’s why.

• If you sprinkle bone meal on moss-covered roof tiles, flowers will grow on them. You can trim excess vegetation with scissors.
• Supply baskets are full-fledged storage units. Put apples or carrots in them (up to 64 items) and the food visually fills the basket.
• Copper tools and spears can be placed on shelves. Glass cabinets allow you to display rare items, such as diamonds or captured butterflies.

Keeping Things Tidy

Fences and gates from the FURNITURE Add-On now function like vanilla ones and cant be jumped over, and you can tie animals to the posts with a leash.

Important: If you decide to rearrange things, a special Hammer will come in handy. It instantly breaks any item from the add-on that your hands cant handle, but be careful-the item doesnt drop; it disappears.

By the way, for survival enthusiasts the wandering furniture merchant is back. You can once again trade blueprints, rare seedlings, and eggplants for emeralds.
